Trend Micro Security 2015 and 10 2016
Open the Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit. Do either of the following:
Go to Start All Programs Trend Micro Titanium version More Tools and Help.
Click Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit.
Note: If you cannot find Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit, follow the instructions under Having Problems Removing Trend Micro. to download and run the tool.
Press the Windows key C to open Charms or hover your mouse pointer on the upper right corner of your screen.
On the Search box, type Trend.
Click Start All Apps Trend Micro Security Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit.
Click Yes when the User Account Control window appears.
Note: You may disregard the Windows notification saying to use the Control Panel to remove the program, since the Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit will remove all Trend Micro related files from your computer which the Control Panel might have missed.
Click Yes when asked to confirm the uninstallation.
Tick I copied my serial number, then click Uninstall.
Click Yes when asked to restart your computer.
Go to Start All Programs Trend Micro Titanium version More Tools and Help.
Tick I have finished writing down the serial number, then click Uninstall.
Go to Start All Programs Trend Micro Titanium version More Tools and Help Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit.
The Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit will open.
Go to Start All Programs Trend Micro Titanium Security 2012 More Tools and Help Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit.
The Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit will appear.
Copy your serial number when prompted.
Open the Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit by doing one of the steps below:
For Windows XP: Go to Start All Programs Trend Micro Titanium version Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit.
For Windows Vista and Windows 7: Start All Programs Trend Micro Titanium version Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit.
Click the C Uninstall tab when the Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit opens.
Click Yes when you are prompted to confirm the uninstallation.
Wait while the program finishes uninstalling the product and its components.
Click Yes when you are prompted to restart your computer.
Older programs 2010 version and below
Download the Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit.
When the File Download window appears, click Run.
After the download finishes, the Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit window appears.
Click the Uninstall tab, then click 1. Uninstall software.
The Toolkit will automatically detect the Trend Micro program that is currently installed.
After the program finishes uninstalling, you will then be asked to restart your computer.
Select your Windows operating system version to download the Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit.
Windows Vista or Windows 7 32-bit
Windows Vista or Windows 7 64-bit
The User Account Control window appears.

Step 1: Download and run the stand alone Diagnostic Toolkit
To uninstall your Trend Micro program using the uninstall tool, follow the steps below:
Click the button below to download the hot fix, then save it to your desktop:
Double-click Ti_100_win_en_Tool_UninstallTool_hfb0001.exe.
Read and accept the License Agreement, then click Next.
Type the characters in the field provided.
Click Uninstall. Wait for the uninstallation to complete.
Click Yes to restart the computer.
Note: After the restart, the uninstallation should be complete.
Step 2: Run the Trend Micro Titanium Driver Remover Tool
To remove remnants of Trend Micro drivers, follow the steps below:
Download the Titanium Driver Remover tool and save it to your desktop.
Note: Type novirus when prompted for a password.
Open the extracted file and go to applicable bit version.
Click Start Fix. button and wait for it to finish.
Note: After restarting the computer, remnants of the drivers should be removed.
